Before founding Echelon in 2020, Scott built his career advising clients and holding leadership positions at Fidelity Investments, where he led, coached, and developed financial professionals. Drawing on that experience, he established Echelon with a clear vision: to provide independent, personalized wealth management free from the limitations of a large financial institution. His approach emphasizes comprehensive financial planning, disciplined investment management, and enduring relationships built on trust, transparency, and accountability.
A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Vermont and a Master of Science in Administrative Studies with a focus on Financial Economics from Boston University.
Beyond his financial career, Scott is a retired U.S. military officer and combat veteran with more than 22 years of service, including deployments supporting Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom. His military career reinforced the values of integrity, leadership, discipline, and service—principles that continue to shape his approach to both business and life.
Scott lives in Scottsdale with his wife, Heather, and their children. Outside the office, he values being a dad, spending time with friends, and traveling with his family.
